"BELLA" - My 64 Split bus with EV Conversion
I have started with my 64 Split "Bella" project,, a few years is set aside for this project
Lets start the history how I got it ( I like stories.. don't you)
I was donated a bus by Ferdie (Busbfk) after he couldn't pick up a bus donated by FIG -- Yeah I know.. donations all round (What a friendly bunch)
The bus was in Stanford in a scrap yard
The bus was delivired by the scrapyard owner Chris Jansen as he had to make a trip to Cape Town.
Here are some of the pics after the delivery was made before it was pushed into the yard
Project to continue...

Johan, I want to see an update at least weekly....
Good luck and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I will look through my parts bin for bits and pieces!

Johan, you have a lot more courage than I do, but bestaluck!
With that paint job, I reckon it must have been a very well-known Bus in some part of our country many years ago?
Keep us updated!

Re: "BELLA" - My 64 Split is coming back to life
Yep this bus is quite a handful,, *In a whisper* recon Bella is beating the misses at the moment
I will be replacing all the panels that can't be repaired. Lucky for me all the panels can be sourced from over the big waters.. Calooker will play a major part in parts I can't source locally..
At the moment not a lot will be done till I have recovered from my shoulder op, will give it another month (Still very sensitive)
Just thought I will post a picture when the bus was delivered where the ladies was sizing each other.. *The misses will kill me if she see this picture posted*
This is going to be a fun project
