This is my want to be Country Buggy . Built from steel in the best way I can .I started 2 months ago on a 59 pan . I will upload more pictures if anyone has interest . I think I am the only lover of Country Buggys.I just finished the bumpers and a full rack for the top .I will powdercoat it when I finish a couple more things .

It will be street legal and it could be slammed for the slammed lovers . Could be made higher for hunting and camping , but I did this one on a swing axle. Not into the bent axle look .I also hate the look of the seats that are in it . But they work great for the build . It will have lowbacks .

Re: Country Buggy Kitcar
Interesting project. Can't say the country buggy appeals to me, but they are an ACVW curiosity.

From TheSamba.com
VW Fact #923: The only Australian-designed Volkswagen was the 1968 Country Buggy. It was not a sales success, as only 1,956 were made, but the survivors are very collectable today. The Country Buggy provided some inspiration for the later German-designed Type 181 'Thing'.

Re: Country Buggy Kitcar
The rack is ready to powdercoat . The rack is for when I take my bikes or small boat with me . Mostly I will tow it behind my H2 to where Im going then drive it around . This Summer it will spend in Steamboat Spring Colorado USA . Perfect weather for no top or A/c .
