New to me Fasty

Post by brianj »

Now that she is up and running, some pics of the Fasty (dusty). Future plans may include bringing the nose down to match the rear and fitting the sprintstars... not much else cosmetically.

Not a proper pigalle, as SA cars did not strictly follow the euro guidelines for interior colour schemes. Violet is her name, I have been informed...

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Nice..........
Nothing better then a Fastback on the road, and then it still looks sooo good.
That's one nice car, got me confused at the year, is it 1967??
Was the interior this way when you got it, or did you convert it.?

Think it is a late 65 built 66 year model because thats when the pigalle pieces were around. The car has been worked on because it did have a bump at some stage on the right rear, but I am pretty sure most of what is there is original. The interior is also mostly original, the dash has the usual cracks and a middle console has been added.

Would you be so kind and post some more pics of that middle console? I'm interested in doing something like that in the Notch in the future... Yours looks very well done.
