Bought a 1959 Single cab about a month ago for the handsome sum of.......R500-00. Totally Original, a few add on's over the years, but solid and ZERO rust.

Pics will be posted soon.

All I can say is that locals are looking in all of the wrong places.....I picked up a 1966 ex military 11 window as well in the NW for R2000-00. Dunno what to do with that one yet...........maybe build another garage.

Post by BARON »

Hi,
I think you can also add the Puma to your list as it surely is more than a kit car.As usual Im on the minority list so will have to listen more and talk less. (KIT CAR)

Werner Alker has a real WW2 K?bel, the only one I've seen or heard of in SA. Unfortunately only about 5% of its bodywork is original.
You know werner? met him in about 99...hell of a nice oke...saw his kubel and loved it....his museum is awesome as well...love that industrial engine.....

Hell, long time since i saw him....

Nope, a steel-bodied off-road buggy made by VW for the Australian market. Ugly as hell, but VERY rare  Google 'VW Country Buggy' for pics...
