Reputable courier company??

Post by Blitzkrieg »

Hi guys,

I need to send some rather delicate and kinda valuable bits to a fellow forum member in the Cape, could someone please suggest a reputable courier company that I could use??

I don't trust the SAPO/Speed Services anymore, my Porsche steering went missing and wound up in some obscure location 2 weeks later, when I went to go and pick it up, it was in a Checkers packet :jerkoff:

I need to get this to him ASAP, so any leads would be appreciated...

I use SFS for smaller stuff, Kargo for larger consignments.
A lot of the courier/freight companies require that you have an account with them though....

The simplest and fastest is SAA Cargo, Airport to Airport.

You drop it off at OR Tambo Cargo and they collect it from CPT Int Cargo.

If the courier company is not road freighting it, they use SAA Cargo.

Sometimes its also the cheapest.

I used timefreight to send an expensive parcel down to PE couple of months back. all was 100%.
I dropped it off at their warehouse in Isando and the cost was not too ridiculous taking the weight into account. Did not need an account, paid there and then.
Hope that helps.

I use Big Foot Express alot & Time Freight, they keep to their time when collecting and delivering...

Plus with bigfoot if you do a depot to depot it works out very cheap even for bulky or heavy items...
