Re: The Week That Was(please don't read if easily offended)
The week that was,was not this week because of all the planning and driving to George. We left on Friday,Me and BaB,to join the other guys,Tom Bishop,HR and Tony Z at the show.I apollogise but won't promise that it won't happen again.
We had a good trip down to George, and Sturday was the almost a perfect day in George with the weather playing along. There were over a thousand cars here, everything from Alfa to Volkswagen.
These pics were taken when we left, and on Sat morning at 6:00,and It was in good company with this Beetle Convertible
I will post some pics on the George Motor Show in the Events Thread.

Re: The Week That Was(please don't read if easily offended)
Over the last few weeks,I haven’t done the week that was,due to all the shows that I attended. So I thought I will do a an update of the last 2 weeks for you guys.
Suzie has bought his SC cab and towed it back to it’s new house in Newcastle.
Bugoff also got his new DC,so my fan club is growing.
Bugger got his DC going aswell and used it to tow Bonnie’s Split to the KKKaK.
TonyZ, now known as ZEE, is back in SA.He spend a wee in Jhb,and then drove down to George for the Motor show. When he got there,he decided to stay over for the night, and booked a place at the local hotel at R450.00/night.But due to some plumbing problems at the hotel, there was no hot water. So,Zee charmed the nice girl at the hotel, and she arranged for accommodation at a B&B around the corner at a third of the price.
The George Motor Show was a huge sucsess, with a huge turnout from all over the country,The guys from Cape Town with their busses, that attended the show, then drove in convoy to the KKKaK.Snyx was one of these guys. They left the KKKaK on Sunday morning and was heading back to CT,with their first stop in Kimberley.
At the George show ZEE bought some paper Nescafe cups, and used it to pour his drinks into.He said to me that no one will ever be able to prove that he drank.BaB and him then proceeded to polish a whole bottle of what is now known as “Moses in his basket”,while I was appointed as the cook.
The KKKaK was next, and what an event!Busses from all over the country.Fig and Gisella put together a great weekend for us.
From what I know there were people from CT,Jhb,Bloemfontein,Brits,PMB,PE,PTA, and even England.
Armand unfortunately could not be there,FFF had other leaks to attend to,Blitz couldn’t get a lift. But next year you guys won’t have any excuses, right!
The Jhb Beetle club also attended, and had some members had early morning excursions.Armand’s wife could not sleep so well,as someone kept falling on her tent.
Pepsicola stayed up till 4:00 in the morning.Just as well he left his Seatcover at home, because his daughter wasn’t speaking to him already.
Lowlight and Dirk Muntingh was appointed as cooks, while Rene was keeping the pot going at our camouflage hide away.If you didn’t eat enough this weekend,it was your own fault.
Pine got into “facelifting” his Bay,and with some eyelids from Calooker, turned it into a moffie!
Vuyo attended the meeting too, with some buddies of his, thus keeping the by equity requirements. His girl said he is now the official coconut of the KKKaK.
Greenbean unfortunately had to leave early. But thanks for the nice toys. You made a fortune off us!
And a thanks goes out to Garfield. He is the caretaker of fig’s farm. You did an excellent job, my man!
This guy travelled all over SA for seven years in his Nissan 1400,and has now found a home with the AC community.
MtM took his Bee-ba for a spin on Sunday, but waited around a while to see,if he could get some patients to take to the hospital. But Bugger didn’t want to sort out “some” guys,so he ended taking a seatcover for a ride.
2660km’s in a week, from George to Potch, and the best crowd in the world. Thanks guys, you made the last 2 weeks an awesome experience!

Re: The Week That Was
Just been browsing through the pics. KKKak was good fun it seems. Nice reporting there, Chris. If you want to change carreers one day, I think E-Tv needs a presenter/journalist in the eastern Cape.
