Big thanks to Jurgen at Grand Slam

Hey Volks
mrsfig and I just returned from a road trip to Cape Town in our 77 Autovilla. It had some issues with the brakes before we left, which were attended to, but an oval rear drum led to brakes overheating and a leaking wheel cylinder in 44C temps in the Northern Cape. We still had brakes, but pedal travel compromised reaction times and the shrieking noises were just too much, so I contacted Grand Slam on approach to Cape Town.
Esme told me they were fully booked until March, but Jurgen took the job on out of concern for us driving with dodgy brakes. This despite the mountain of other work he had and despite most of his workers not yet having returned from their holidays.
Jurgen and Es, you guys are champs! Thanks for sorting out our brakes and for being such a solid support to the ACVW community!
