Is it just my luck but everything I'm looking for seems to be out of stock at volkspares or are they not keeping beetle stock anymore

I stopped shopping there years ago for the same reason. Also because a few times they said they did have stock and I drove all the way there, only to be told they didn't have stock.
To be fair though, the last time I went there was to chat to Garin, the owner, and I ended up leaving with an armful of stuff that I had no idea they kept.

What I have noticed is when you put the items on your wish list at the online shop, they seem to get stock.

If you phone Gavin, and tell him what you want, he will ask if you want good stuff or Empi, and then it will come in the next shipment..He is an Agent for BBT4 vw from Belgium / Holland, these guys have everything, you can look at their web site, and order from Gavin by number.
They do not ship direct... so don't even try...
