I have two brand new heads (From Tony Z) and new valves I bought at Alert Engine parts.
Does one need to grind in brand new valves and seats or at least do a blue test. ?
Also, should I lap/grind in the existing cylinder barrels into the new heads ? Still need to mic the bores but the ring gap is 0.6mm of the newish rings.

Re: Beetle Head Advice
Hi I always lap different valves since they will be different. The cylinders may or may not need it I would lightly lap check and go from there.
What I would at least.
What I would at least.
