HEY ALL EUGENE HERE HERE IS SOME UPDATED PICS ON THE PROGRESS SO FAR...... BY THE WAY THE TYPE 4 GOODIES ARE FOR SALE OR WILL SWOP FOR BEETLE 12V ALTERNATOR AND FAN

Good idea to go t4 engine --I love them --and project looks great so far. Just send the pictures,the guys on this site can not get enough of it.
What make guages are those where did you get them and what price more or less .

hey guys....

yip i cant wait to get it on the road.... but i guess patience is the key.

Colour wise i was thinking along these lines maybe i know it a small pic but what do you think?

wheels wise im going for porsche style cup rims

the throttle bodies are from precision race they are brand new so are adaptale to many makes of vehicles check precisionrace.co.za

any of you guys know if the MSD distributor for type1 vw will fit in the type 4?

the gauges are vdo, got them from my cousine who was gonna use them on his 46 chev pick up bought them brand new and he decided on another set from the states so i scored big time! around R7000-

*jacks yet another thread* sorry guys just wanted to know,seeing that we are talking about a sunroof bug...if there was a ever a 70s model (The one with the elephant foot lights) that had a rag top sunroof...?
