Aircooled VW South Africa

My first aircooled was a 1976 2.0l transporter. I bought it in 2003 from a lady in Brakpan. At that stage it was locked away in her garage for just over 8 years. The centre seat were removed because they used it to transport her husband who was in a wheel chair. (He passed away 8 years before and it was never used after that) The vehicle was meticulously maintained and in a prestine condition and believe it or not, it had a little black book in which all services etc. was recorded, it had 92000 genuine km's on the clock. The set of spare keys that came with it was never even used. I enjoyed the vehicle for the next ±13000 problem free kilometers after which I sold it to make make space for a newer Kombi. We enjoyed the old 76 Kombi so much that I bought one again in 2010.
