Re: durban breakfast run?
im keen for the wkend of the 7/8 feb.
the point of a run is to meet somewhere, then drive somewhere, then park somewhere.
umhloti sounds cool, never been there-where we gonna meet?
shongweni is cool too, meet at pavillion-too lazy for a braai though.
lion park is cool too, meet at pavillion-they have a nice little pub there. nice cold wetties, not sure bout the chows-sure itll be good...PLUS...
theres plenty parking.
im keen for whatever(prefer lion park)

Re: durban breakfast run?
Umdloti is 5mins outta Umhlanga going towards ballito. Its an awesome beach and in feb will have sufficient parking, there are 2 restuarants, a steers, a pub a service station, and a good swimming area. Braais permitted. Some good seatcovers at times.

Ah, would love to join you guys - sorry, been away and only stumbled on the thread today. Unfortunately I'll be in Bloem that weekend. Great idea though, I've been wondering if these things ever happened down in sleepy KZN! I hear that the folks at Volkspares on Umgeni Rd have arranged a few runs but hadn't heard of any lately.
