Hey Tristram, check out the Junk Mail, there are plenty of good bargains.
I recently picked up a rolling chassis with baja body and some parts for R600.
In the meantime if I see something I will let you know.
Baja's are great fun. I once attended a 4WD obstacle day and on the one particularly difficult obstacle only a Baja got through. Jeeps, Landys, you name it, they got stuck but the Baja went through. :hangloose:

I say this with all the respect in the world, however, WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT A BAJA?

It is because I got some terrible news on Sunday...

The Oval Baja I had, which was bought by Flatfourfan, and sold to Kobus, who re-sold it again....

...was turned into a stock-standard normal Oval Beetle again :(

I am a broken man :( :( :(

Uhm... you take your toebroodjies to work in plastic, dammit!

REAL Bajas have fibreglass curves. LOTS of fibreglass curves :flash: :flash: :flash:

Just yanking your fanbelt cover.

Wouldn't mind a (wait for it, wait for it !!!) OVAL baja myself. There is just something so wrong it makes it feel right (Did I "say" that out loud )

BIG wheels, flat black or camo paint, ready to @#$#@$ up the landy's and cruisers :hangloose:

Any reason why someone would not be able to fit reduction boxes in a baja ?

Eazie now boyz, l doubt when Herr Hitler said "Volkswagen", he was thinking of saving the planet! "Use as little metal as you can, and if you can't find enough, make the wagen half plastic (half archer, boot & bonnet) and half metal".
