Some minor finds this weekend (Thanks Chris! )

Afull boxed set of spare globes

This interested me. It looked just like an old sunglasses case. But on inspection found 4 of these:

Which unwrapped turned out to be these brand new unused Bosch Plugs

Not much, but when its your first find it can mean a lot.

I just went to my local scrapyard to get a safety belt stalk for my Golf.
While the "stripper" was stripping the seats for the stalk, I walked around, because the "stripper" was nothing to look at  , and male, and what is laying in the grass?
A +/- '63 type 3 rim with 4 big slots and 3 little nipples for the hubcaps, not the 5 clip type :D
Now my notch has a complete set, including spare wheel

when I went to fetch the free fasty in rustenburg that I strpped for parts. The owners were getting ready to move house and lying outside along with some other junk was a hazet assistant. Upon enquiry it was thrown in for free too, although a little rough all it really needs is some rubbers and new paint.... i will restore it sooon!

Don't know if this would qualify but it was amazing find for me non the less.

1965 Split from original owner R13 000 basically in running order.
Two low Light Bays 69(Combi) and 73(Crew cab) for a bottle of Klippies.

Thats because your tool box is rarer than all the others as it is a "Tourist" model.... they are very sought after by the Porsche 356 boys as well.... and its also from the 356 era...

If the decal bothers you, I can always take it off your hands...

Check this...
