Muds, don't you have a double cab to work on, or a MotoMeter oval window gauge set to pick up from your cousin?

While going to look at a square that turned out to be a notch (totally different story) I stopped to ask directions at what I can only describe as a truck workshop on a plot. I spoke to the "Oom" and asked if he knew where to find the place with the old vw that's for sale he then showed me a array of old battered cars he had lying on his plot none of them close to anything ever made in Germany except for a early single cab bay that they are still using.I got slightly anxious to leave feeling that the "oom" has now found his "project for the day" keeping me there chatting as long as he can and killing time till afternoon tea ! He then took me to a store and after he made me climb a a rickety shelf I found two early beetle racks and a bus rack !They all need a refurb off course but ohh what joy ,and the added bonus after asking how much "ag man vat die kak" they were on the back of my bakkie in a flash ! I then HAD to accommodate the nice "oom" and ended up leaving just before 2pm and having to leave the square hunt for another day !!
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

Will need to get them stripped down and cleaned up and painted but minimal amounts of rust. They should be good to be blasted and powder coated right?

Interestingly the edge isn't straight like the modern reproduction ones, but has a slight peak to it.
I need to work out who does the best rubbers for them. The WolfsburgWest ones are rubbish and leak like a dirty whore on a friday night
