Hi Eben,

Something is going wrong with this pole.......

Two years ago we had 300 odd entrys

Yesterday we had 93

Now we back to 7 ?????????????

Is there any body that has the original total, or is this info lost......

That would be sad....

I think everyone needs to re-vote

the count reset itself today because I decided to add another 2 cars to the list....
namely the one the majority of us have.... either an early or a late beetle.
The list was split beetle, oval beetle, then missed everything inbetween and jumped to 1600 SP and finally superbeetle

So sorry, but I also wanted to vote after 7 years of watching this thread

People, please remember a SUPER Beetle has McPherson strut front suspension, they came in 1302 flat windscreen cars ('71 & '72 & early '73) and 1303 round windscreen cars (late '73 to '79)
if you have a S Beetle (South Africa only) with a round windscreen and torsion beam front suspension then IT IS NOT A SUPER BEETLE!

So after a lot of searching we finally found a buggy to start our project on. Its a kango 1600 single port. Engine runs when she wants to. Small problem with the choke and carborator. Other than that not much rust just a lot of tlc needed on the outside with the body...

How about adding something more specific? Like 'so-cal' or rods...
