SP2 Built in Brazil on a Modified Brazilia chassis
First ever VW to have intermittent wipers. Map light, moulded (completely) dash, rev counter as std. hatch back Largest type 3 engine ever built 1679cc 88mm bore, high lift cam
and the father of the 041 head (those babies were developed for this car)
about 10200 built all steel.
it also came with an alternator.
