Thanks man, not sure what I'm going to need yet. By the way, I'm also looking for a early bay airfilter for my 72 Westy. Keep an eye out for one of those if you don't mind.
What does the air filter look like - do you perhaps have pic ?

The vehicle is still on the Natis system. Trying to contact the registered owner.
Got a engine cross brace and rear engine valance in the meantime.

:hangloose: Just comparing the "before" interior pics with the present pics - really glad that you ended up with this bus didi 8) You posted a pic of a motor on another thread, is that motor for this bus ?

Yes, the motor came out of my 72 Westy and will go into this bus. Bill Noble (forcecooled) is helping me to build a real nice engine. C/W crank, engle 100 cam, engle lifters, cb conrods, 30mm oil pump, sand seal pulley, full flow for external oil filter, 043 ported heads etc etc.

I bought the bus without a engine. It had a DJ conversion done in the early eighties. The engine support brackets were removed and I had to weld them back on
