As a Rondalia member, you could get finance for a new or secondhand car or caravan. They also offered a comprehensive vehicle test (at a mere R 7.50!) for prospective buyers of used cars :hangloose:

I spotted this teapot in an antique shop in Kalk Bay. Looks like the Rondalia resorts had bespoke crockery:

Thanks for the pic! That looks typically like the kind of curios sold at caravan parks and camp sites many years ago - together with stickers and of course tea spoons. I was at Skukuza's curios shop in the Kruger Park last year, and it seems like a lost tradition, you don't find many of those kind of memorabilia any more..

I've recently found an interesting variation of the Rondalia badge, off the grille of an old Mercedes. This badge has its holes on the sides, rather at the bottom, so that it can be mounted on the grill of a car with the bracket, nuts and bolts supplied, instead of the bumper. As you can see from the pics, it never had the holes at the bottom drilled during manufacturing -

This is my Rondalia collection with all the different badges (Note the difference in coloration even though the top 3 are the same and in almost new condition), salt and pepper pot, tea spoon, license sticker and a very unique Rondalia enamel sign.
