What model do you have?: Puma

Hi Guys

I'm in charge of the slowest Puma rebuild ever. When I last struggled with this thing there was very little information available, now we have a whole forum. Yay!

So time for me to start spending time on the thing or sell it as a project. But let's try the former, see if it drives me mad.

Welcome to ACVWSA wrm. You've come to the right place!

There are a number of past and present Puma owners here, and IMPI is an expert.

Hello

I've been a member for a while now, but only recently bought an air cooled specimen;

I need some advice please; the steering has some play on it and it does not like going straight.

The twin down-drafts needs a tune.

JHB please.

Hi Guys,

I am a sailor / traveller with a special love for old things. During a short period of my life, when I thought that I would settle down, I bought my first car. It was in 2013. The intention was to have a car with which I can go exploring South Africa. So I bought a VW T2 1969 Westfalia Camper van. I soon realised that owning an old VW is not easy - but if it was easy, everyone would do it. None the less, this car has made up for it ever since and I am very proud of my little bus and cherish the moments that we shared. Unfortunately a time has come where I have to part with my beloved camper. My heart longs for the sea and I am looking for a buyer who can continue the project that I started.

I would love to tell you guys more about my camper van.

Cheers, Sigi

I am currently in Europe. The car is standing at my dad's house in Ruimsig near Krugersdorp. I am hoping to get 70000 for it.

Just a quick post of some pics, I am working on some more.

I would love to add some pictures to show what I have done in the project. I am not much of a mechanical man, but I started quite a nice project of restoring the interior. I am not sure under which topic to post it, or should I just start a new one?

Hi All,

I am Bennie Viljoen.

I just bought 2 x 1975 Beetle to build and restore one for me and then for my wife the rod!

She wants one with a chopped roof and with a Subaru motor in it!

Mine I will go for the classic look! 8)

Hope that I will be able to meet and join a Beetle club soon.

I am from the East of Johannesburg!! Sounds better than Boksburg! LOL

Thanks!
