No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

Hi, Just joined.
Have found myself a 1976 VW Beetle 1600S lots of work ahead...it's for my daughter who will only get her learners licence at the end of 2021 so have plenty of time to fix her up.
Cheers

I hope it is enough time... some projects can take longer than we want them to. Mostly because we keep changing our own goal-posts...

Hello all. Vernon from Hillcrest, Dbn. I recently bought a 1958 Karmann Ghia. This vehicle needs lots of TLC and I'm trying to find a company in the Durban area that can assist with some mechanical issues. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I have just joined. I spotted some pics on the internet of a Beetle pickup/Ute and tracked it back to this forum. I am in the process of building my second one. Always on the lookout for new ideas.I will get involved here and post stuff on my collection of VWs. I live in South Australia.

Welcome and thanks for joining. We love new projects.

How about giving us a tease with photo's of the 1st build, and please open a project thread for the new build, will be inspirational for others.
