Rest in Peace beetlefanatic

Post by didi »

Hi Folks,
It's with shock and sadness that I am the bearer of this news. Sonja called me this morning and asked me to notify everyone who knew Bernhardt especially everyone on the forum of his passing this morning.

This gentle giant will surely be missed.

Really sad news indeed.
As with Kegan, I only met him a few times but I really enjoyed the time spent with him. Also a great person to converse with via email.
A good guy who will be missed in this world.

Rest in Peace Bernard

The news of Bernard's passing came as a terrible shock and words cannot describe the loss to all of us at the ACVWSA community. I have still spoken to him a mere two weeks ago, and at the time he was looking forward to a well-deserved holiday back in SA, working on his beloved Buses and visiting some friends.

Our sympathy and condolences to his wife Sonja (ACVWSA username Sk8terbug), daugter and family, he will be truly missed. Funeral arrangements will be given as soon as it is finalised.

Bernard was a member of ACVWSA since the 30th of January 2008 and logged on for the last time on Saturday 8 October 2016 at 6:12 pm.
