Have any of you seen a semaphore bus with front indicators?

On my Feb 58 bus the one M-code (on the Birth Certificate) it shows M-code:164: "Flashing front blinkers"

I tried to search on the Samba but did not fiend anything so far. On the M-code page on the Samba it is mentioned: "seen on a 57 kombi"

What type of lights would it be?

I am not sure if it is correct but there are holes that doesn't look like its been drilled afterwards, so there might have been some factory fitted indicators on?

Does anyone have some info on that?

I read somewhere that the VW's that went to USA had to have Indicators fitted from May 1955

The Dealers fitted them, till the bodys could be changed, and then they came from the factory fitted with them.
