It seems some of us are a bit embarrassed that our buses have increased in value so much and perhaps feel we don't deserve the windfall.
I never bought any of my cars as investments, but I knew it was likely they would appreciate. I had no idea how much.
I bought them and keep them because I love to have them and love driving them and love showing them.
I'm in the hobby for the love of it, but that doesn't mean I'll turn down fair value when I eventually sell my collection. And, if my life goes according to plan, there will come a day when I WILL put all my cars on the market. Not to retire in front of the TV, but to spend my retirement years travelling around the world.
I won't be asking permission or apology from anyone when the time comes to sell MY stuff. I won't see it as a sad day when I sell. Other enthusiasts will get the opportunity to enjoy my collection.

This was even worse ....sending your museum cars to a show and getting scrapmetal back.
