Installing scraper rubbers is probably the most frustrating job on a Beetle. You will have to use a left inner for a right outer and a right inner for a left outer if you're doing outer scrapers. Remove rivets and reuse old clips on outers. Re-attach with small rivets. The inners are installed as is but I find that the new clips don't always align with the holes in the door. Moving the clips is a pain as the little teeth sometimes snap as you re-fasten. Next time I'll dump the clips and just glue it to the door.

the new clips break when you look at them funny... They are way too fragile

Buy local maybe not the best but I have been happy with the things I got from them and affordable prices. If you have a nice or show type car then imported are better. And we are supporting a local company.
