Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Yes, Peter Berry, aka Dingleberry.

Last I heard he was dying of cancer. I called him about a bus he was selling and he said he was offloading everything as he was on his way out. Haven't heard anything about him in years. His son used to go to school with mrsfig.

I remember when he came to the KKKult kamp-out. He approached me and asked how I could tell the year of a bus just by looking at it. When he told me who he was, I responded by saying that he didn't have a good rep in the ACVW community, to which he replied: "We live with these things ..."

He also sold cars that had been left with him for restoration ... after taking cash up front to start work.

I am sure it is the same Peter that Terry refers to. I did deal with him before and no problems.
