Spares from Brazil

Hi everyone

While trawling the forums pages, I came across a suggested website for spares:
www.vwantigo.net

I’m just wondering if anyone else has ordered from them and if so, what was your experience?
How long did it take to get here?
What duties were due when fetching the spares?
What was the options for shipping?
Any other relevant info...

Thanks in advance...

Jason

Have bought a large number of things from them,

Excellent service, and prompt delivery.

Will always depend on the South African side such as customs and courier.

Just ask them to mark the parcel as VINTAGE PARTS . This apply s to all import parts bought from overseas.

If marked VW parts, you will pay an very high customs fee as customs has an agreement with VW to tax VW imports.

No, because if goods are declared under the wrong tariff codes SARS/customs will hit you with a penalty. You can try it once or twice and get away with it, but the inspectors are quite jacked up and if your goods get detained for inspection there will be penalties etc
