Almost there....sadly. USA fiscal cliff debate, Eurozone debt default concerns and generally poor global growth outlook. We might be looking notionally better from an exports perspective with a weak rand, but I somehow don't see the demand. I reckon what with the general political clowning around going on, some hedge fund(s) are going to start to short the rand soon. Oh joy.

Yip you right, SA needs a weaker rand. And yes, I get paid in dollars
but it doesnt help when my leave gets calculated wrong, and thus loose 45 days leave. No amount of argueing helps, because the Captain isnt prepared to even consider that he might be wrong....
so instead of me being owed 30 days at home, I owe 15 days extra at work.... c#nt

Sorry, just venting.

I just bought something from Dave Rowley for someone else, which now costs 50% more than it did last time I bought it, about a year ago...

Just read this post and saw it is a few years old.

You guys probably all wish you had not canned/stopped the orders. :(
I'm also waiting to place an order for seat covers and cussions hoping the rand /$ will be a bit more favourable, but in the end I might have to fork out more.
