Must I scan this book???

Post by Junior »

I bought this book and it looks very helpful, I would be willing to scan it onto the computer if enough people are interested. So who would want it to be available?

Not sure how you upload a book. You might have to host it ofsite if it is big - eben will let us know, but the other option is dropbox and keep it big :-)

Greetings,
Try scanning the pages in a pdf format then use Adobe Creator to put all the pdf pages in one doc, will be significantly smaller. If you have scanned the pages as a photo (either bmp, tif, or jpeg) then use something like CutePDF to "print" as a pdf. If you don't have PDF Creator, then you can maybe try the long way, by "printing" the bmp, tif, or jpeg scanned photo's, using the free adobe PDF viewer app's Snapshot function, paste into a Word doc, size as required, and print the Word doc as a pdf.
Regards,
SoutieRSA
Failing that, you can maybe try a public repository, like Dropbox.

I can create the issu link but it looks like you scanned 2 pages at at time which means it doesn't paginate 100%... still its usable :)
