Re: new Syncro Microbus Forum
Hi Dean
Of course you may join! (But only of you drive one of these... )
Just kidding!
Welcome to ACVWSA, I am sure there are many members here who would pop in for a visit frequently at your side
I'm a bit curious - are front-engined Syncro Buses also genereally accepted in your circles? And Touaregs/Amaroks?

My name is Dean son of Alan Levin owner of Ace Auto Scrapyard which im sure alot of you have visited at some stage
come past my site to see pics of my busses all members welcome
we accept all vw cars just have to take a rope occasionally to pull the newer ones out as they dont make cars like they used to
syncroSA hopefully can team up with aircooledvwsa ? as we deal with all the watercooled later models but not too new
also pics from my resent visit to uitenhage on http://www.syncrosa.co.za

Re: new Syncro Microbus Forum
I joined on Wednesday
I think Syncro's (rear engined T3's) & aircooleds go together.
Look at how many of us have both, Bugger, Stuart, Bernard, Dean, me & lots of others!
I see on the Syncro site there is a guy in the Cape, Nico, (I think), who even has a NSU Ro80 in his collection like I do, so our brains work the same?
Once youv'e got that bug (sorry, no pun intended), it's history

Re: new Syncro Microbus Forum
You are right Dam. Once the bug has bitten it's infectious. I get death threats from the two women in the house if I just talk about selling one of the cars.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.
