1:10 Radio Control Karmann Ghia

Recently released by Tamiya, this is what it looks like:

As with all Tamiya radio control models, it is a kit that you have to build yourself. The body is a transparent plastic that you actually paint from the inside, and then apply all the decals and chrome goodies. Obviously you can spray it any colour you like.

All good and well, but keep in mind that these modern radio control cars are extremely fast, and the slightest mishap will cause some serious damage to the bodywork. It will make a nice display model, but then again at a scale of 1:10 it might actually be too big for your display case.

Video of the Tamiya Karmann Ghia in action, this guy also modified one to a cabrio:

Actually not. I had the Amarok...surprisingly rugged....rolled and bumped it often....got grabbed by the Bull Terriers, all with no serious injuries.
You can never have enough Garages :-(
