I haven't done any resto work at all this year. I had planned on completing this one and getting Oxford Radio driving, but the only car work I've had time for has been maintenance and necessary repairs on the licenced buses.

But mrsfig and I have agreed to move the two 57s side by side this weekend ... watch this space.

Hi fig! Instead of using incorrect tail lights on the other bus... There's an oom down in Kraaifontein who makes tail light lenses. Maybe you can fabricate the backings? :P Just a suggestion. :)

Haha. Quite! When I dig this bus out again to work on it, it will be another barn find!

Actually, it's funny you should ask this now. After parking the bus in the back of my workshop in 2010 (Ouch! Has it been that long?), I pulled out all the loose parts such as front beam, transmission and engine earlier this month and started cleaning everything for reassembly. I'd like to get it all back together and running this year. We'll see if I can keep up the momentum. :hangloose:
