here is something I saw a few years ago in Germany. Not what I would do and prob not good for the farm, but just another idea to add to your arsenal....

Nice bus.. Yep radiator on the belly not a good idea for the farm.
Will see how things pan out, if it must be that the bus is not traveling gravel road,, then it must be

Bought a bay roof from the Tom's but picked up a contact for a Split roof in George at the car show.. will be haveing a look this afternoon. The seatcover recon if I spend as much time and energy on her as on the bus,, she will be queen -- Can you okes believe this
I'm glad I went to George as well.. Motivated me what can be achieved, all inspired again
Chat again.. I know how the other people feel about their projects as well,, all I can say is "Vasbyt manne"

And got myself the hubcaps (Thanks Merlin)Chris wrote:This Bus is being done here in PE.
It has a straight axle conversion and a 1600 engine with a dropped front suspension.

Re: "BELLA" - My 64 Split bus with WC Conversion
I'm almost finish stripping the bus for the major surgery (Working in the evenings only alow so much light),, the cutting out of all the rust.
Just amazed when I looked tonight in the enjin assembly room, (Spot allocated to keep the split spares), can't believe there are so much spares that came out of the bus.. I kept the door pannels intact as I will use these as templates, but some of my spares are invading the misses craft room as well, there were hard words coming my way,, All indications are that I will have to move my ass on this project,
It seems the double garage won't be for the normal cars,, but for the split screen and the cars will will have to stay under the card board for a while longer ,, Amazing how things turn out
Will start to post pics as well with the progress,,

Re: "BELLA" - My 64 Split bus with WC Conversion
Just a quick update,, The cargo floors are stripped, the nose is of (To much rust after I opened her up, espesialy behind the kick plate) Preparing the donor nose to be assembled and prepared the roof sections that need to be replaced as well
Some of the side sills have been cut due to the rust. Will make ribs to replace the rusted ribs on the sills as well
This project is taking more time than antisipated. My work is keeping me busy and now with winter coming up it is a b!tch working in the cold. I did more than my share when I was a boilermaker
All in all the project is coming along, will post pictures soon to check the progress
