The Autodeck from Muds will match perfectly with the dash, You can then hide an Alpine somewhere under. :D

I imported some parts including these brackets and straps. Very disappointing. The metal is so thin and flimsy in comparison to the original (on the left) I am going to use the rubber bits of the new part and combine it with the metal of the old ones. The brackets also bolt on differently and the catch of the bracket sits on the wrong place.

They don't make them like they use to,I have used the crap you get here on my T3 camper and they last about a month then they perish and break.
It should be quite easy to make your brackets but the rubber part is the problem.
Hope you get sorted.

Hi Tony,

I paid a bit of school fees on this one: Pop-Top Clamp [63-73 Bus] Part #: 231-068-013A Our Price: $16.95 (and I bought 3) I feel they should not post a VW part number if it's a generic product.

The same quality is available at my local trailer spares shop for R80 each

I got these pop-top clamps from a supplier in the States. The packaging is from a well known supplier in the UK. That is a good idea. I will write a little review.

Nothing like a bit of pressure to kick the project into overdrive. I fitted the poptop today as I want to take the bus to Vaalplasie over this coming weekend.
