Next up was replacing all the petrol pipes by the tank due to constantly getting a strong fuel smell inside the car

After 47years of use the front seats were completely stuffed especially the seatbacks were all broken.


So we wanted to replace them but with a seat with a high backrest
Got a set of Kia picanto front seats for cheap.

Only problem is they are a little too wide to fit inbetween the heaterchannel and the pan tunnel

By using the C. A. D method I made a template loosely based on the Corbeau seatframes where it attaches to pre existing holes in the original seat rails

Were those seats not from. A type 3 or ghia,....their seats are wider on the rails than beetle,.....????
