Idealy I would like to get a water pump from a toyota celica st205.
Should work fine, saw one on e-bay really cheap, I was thinking of getting an electric pump caravanners use, pumps at about 1-1.5 bar for about R 900.00, not sure if it would last though, could do if I only swith the fan and pump on while boosting. Bought an electric waterpump from Goldwagen, doesn't displace nearly enough water though. Will use it to circulate rad water after shut off now.

I think you want the pump to run permanently, there is no use in only circulating under boost. Besides the Toyota water pump, I have found a universal one locally for R1200.00.... I'm still in two minds about buying it or trying to get one from a toyota

Bit of a luck shoot on it then.....some are better than the others..any guarantee on it?

Any ideas as to what the OEM price is? Maybe have a check on E-Gay to get an idea of overseas pricing....

If you are looking for 12VDC water pumps, go to the yacht/boat shops and see what they have from either Jabsco or Johnson.
They may not be cheap, but they are good.

Googled those pumps and other marine pumps, some only good to about 80 - 90 deg, best bet I think is the Toyota pump or the one from MR T.

What are you planning to use for water pipes, radiator and location, header tank, thermo switches etc?

Normal rubber hoses from the rear to the radiator in front. One pump and one header tank with a big enough hole so I can chuck ice into the can. No thermo switch, let it run permanently.

Ok, nothing has happened this past week.
The red beetle has taken up most of my time to prep for this year's racing.

New H-beam front suspension installed, next up set up camber and toe and then a full service. Maybe by end of next week I can spend some time on the twin turbo setup again.
