Went on a fishing trip couple of weeks ago...I really enjoy driving this bus with its 1700.

Good. Are you using the Dicktator FI as originally planned, did the programming turn out well? Which cam profile did you end up with? Could van der Linde do the Web-73? Compression ratio?
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

In the end I did not go the FI route,I got a good set of carbs for a good price and fitted that.To be honest I can't remember the cam profile that I used but was close to a mild engle cam grind(I got the specs from IMPI) and it has a compresion ratio of 8:1.I am very happy with the power delivery,its a nice nippy/torqy engine in my opinion.
