Well this is the thing Donovan - I did'nt do a thing on this bus  We parked it off at Sean's place, with the high roof I didnt have any space at my place high enough to store it under. I wanted to get working on it when my Autovilla was finished. In the interim there was much noise and complaints from Sean about this "hideous and ugly" highroof which he and his staff were forced to look at everyday but I could'nt do much about that during this time
Anyway on Sunday he pitched up at my place with this high roof bus which I did'nt recognize and told me that he did some welding and painting and put in one of his motors and that I take too long with my projects, etc, etc
So hopefully HE will have a few pics, I honestly don't know how he did this as he only works evenings on his Kombis. He mumbles that it was only a few days of work or something like that ! Truly I am gobsmacked, I had no idea about this at all.

The gearbox must come out as it jumps out of 4th and I must make a plan for a motor, and a few other things still need doing, but the bus presents so nicely man,
I am totally stoked and still can't believe what this oke is capable of, and gets up to, while I procrastinate and "hanna-hanna"
Anyway Sean, dude, thanks man - no words for this, I owe you big time china :hangloose:

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Nice bus Paul. I was just thinking you are up to speed with the restorations now.

:10: Sean. Don't you want to move to JHB?

Well, just look at this hideous mess. It was really unpleasant to stare at it everyday looking like this.

So, I just had to weld up the cut outs for windows, fix a few dents and previous bad paint work and that was it.
