Made some muds flaps for the front and rear wheels arches.
And made some covers for the petrol tank.

Some more work was done this weekend.
Had the brake shoes relined and rear drums skimmed.
Overhauled the slave cylinders and cleaned the shocks and gave them a coat of paint.

Did some more work on the Sand Master this weekend.
Fitted all the tow brackets and brackets for the front lights
Then sprayed the plates that I made for the seats to strengthen and sit properly on the seat rails.
Then I sprayed the seats and also decided the rims also needed a change in colour

And also found an old fan belt gaurd that i was given by Pine along time ago, made some brakets for it, gave it some paint a fitted it.

Cleaned the paint off the rims today and it looks much better.
Holding thumbs that engine is good. I took it the be bench tested and set up

Got the motor back last week and it runs good
Could not wait for saterdag so that i could fit the motor.
A few hours later and the motor was in place and wired up.
Unfortunately i could not start it as i forgot to charge the battery

Fiddled with the Rail abit yesterday but could not get it started as the battery would not hold the charge, had it on charge the whole of Friday night.
And the battery from my picanto is to weak.
But......
I did manage to get the front lights working

Perhaps its just an earth strap or something simple. Are you going to register the vehicle for road use ? What gearbox are you using?
