Lindor's makeover

Post by dixtoy »

So the seatcover has decided that it's Lindor's turn for a makeover as she is starting to show some rust spots and we've been wanting to fix the bonnet since we bought her and remove the indicators from the front fenders.

This will be a long process as we'll most probably will have to go down to bare metal to remove all the layers of old paint.

She wants to paint her two tone, Capri blue and Kalahari beige below.

I know there goes the name.

Your comments and suggestions are most welcome

You right the name suits the car, so now it will not only be sweet, but also colourfull.

Myself never been into the two tone beetles, but understand that others love it,

the colour Blue will fit nicely with Lindor's personality.

And with the "New Owners" evening suit.

Will watch this thread for progress

Enjoy

Safely back in the garage, that beetle has never slept outside since we got her, wife would rather let me sleep in the dog box Image
