Jeans Bug Restoration

Post by Teejay »

Hi Guys

A friend of mine living and working in the UK has asked me to do a complete renovation on his 1972? Jeans bug. I'm in Cape Town Northern Suburbs area and looking for someone who knows what they are doing to remove the rust and do a complete respray. The interior must also be redone etc. I attach some pics and welcome feedback from you knowledgeable folk. Is it even worth restoring - given the rust?

Any recommendations in the CT area for an old school panelbeater?

Thanks guys.

TJ

No comments guys?

Has anyone heard of or made use of Grand Slam VW for any work or restoration on a Beetle? Can you recommend them?

Yes they are good, Jurgens normally does an excellent job,

He will give you a good idea if you should or not and what the approx. final cost will be
