My Rat bus

Post by splitbusahollic »

So..after waiting 4 years and 7 months since i bought this beauty She finally made it down to PE from up north and we are able to give Her the attention she deserves..
I have decided to add a bit of bling just to brighten things up a bit and we restored all the mechanicals :D
We will add some more likeable interior options in the new year.. The patina however stays exactly like it is ! :hangloose:
I have put My most favorite shoes on her ... and we are considering some cosmetics in the form of a cyclops light !
have a look at the pics and give some input regarding that option please ! We are still debating whether it will add or detract from the look if we add the cyclops !??

Such a lovely bus Man :hangloose:

I personally prefer the crusty wheels and minus that evil eye on the roof

hmmmm although with that shiny new trim, the evil eye kinda fits ....

Not sure now - but anyway this rat and Sean's '59 patina bus will make a very cool pic together 8)

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Saw this bus whilst being dolled up.
You will need to "upgrade" security on it ,......it's going to have PLenty! Fans.

Quite prepared to part with certain parts of the anatomy to become a much closer friend 😍

That Patina looks amazing Jacques. I have a dislike towards mag wheels and suspension drops, so feel the mags spoil it. The cyclops light is interesting, but again feel it doesn’t belong there. Those wheels just make it look like every second bus in the UK.

Keep it more original man. :hangloose: It looks so cool with that Patina and Deluxe trim

Don't forget, no Patina bus is the same, they are all unique. :hangloose:

I'll happily take over those wheels if everyone is hating on 'em :TIC:
If it's too low, you're too old

How would it look if you make the other two light "popeye style" as well?
like this:

Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).
