I have a similar colour on my ponton, albeit a bit lighter. DB169H - Stone Grey.

Are you going to keep the inside of the fenders in paint ?

I have seen a couple of fenders that was kept in paint on the inside where the force of the stones flicked upwards actually made little dents and cracked the paint.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I'm fully aware of the possibility of dents in the fenders. I'm still deciding on what I'm going to do with the car. At this moment I'm leaning towards a make it as nice as I can, but I know that it can change. Very easy to put protection underneath if it is necessary.

Thanks for your input Haans, I am privileged to be the custodian at this moment in time.

They took the car out of the spray booth this afternoon. First sunshine touching this body. Looking good thus far.

Thanks for all the complimentary comments I appreciate it.

OK, so the phase of repair and painting the body is slowly coming to an end. I'm super happy with the results. I think that the rims looks just spectacular. Body colour on the outside and L16 "Light green" on the inside. What do you my Air-cooled buddies think? ImageImageImageImage
