My almost new 1960 Ragtop

Post by Eugene »

So why post it in projects then?

Image

Just collected this puppy today....thanks SpicyDave
Thing is, I would like to return her/him (not sure what it is  ) to an almost original state. They have gone and reupholstered the interior and it's just not too my satisfaction.
What to do?
I am going to look for complete original 1960 bug interior
The 1200 engine pulls fine and just did around 160kms without any hickups
Shudder on clutch but might also be mounting...will check later
Would like to find and original canvas top

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
