Re: "Eva-Ann"
WW has a rubber can take the chrome beadings, I might be wrong but I don’t think PA has a rubber that can take the chrome beadings.
WW rubber is also softer than PA.
If you aren’t going to refit the chrome beadings, then there is nothing wrong with PA. But I have read that there are certain rubbers which may be better to get WW. IIRC the WW door rubbers are better than PA, but then again people have fitted PA door rubbers and are happy.

Re: "Eva-Ann"
Pro Auto Rubber does have the rubber that takes the beading, but it doesn't grip the beading very nicely. The beading continuously pops out while fitting it in the rubber. I got nice and soft rubber from Global Parts in Montague Gardens, via Goeie Hoop Onderdele in Brackenfell, but I'm sure you can ask your dealer in JHB to get it from Global Parts in JHB. It is molded but I found it to be too long so I had to cut it and re-glue it. It hugs the beading tightly and makes installation a breeze.

Re: "Eva-Ann"
When we replaced the rubbers on the front and rear screens we got supplied a different rubber to the normal ones everybody uses. Think the guy at pro Auto mentioned its for the Ford F100 kit. The rubber is thicker

Bought a rubber from Pro Auto Rubber yesterday. Will give feedback when I've fitted it. Got the one that takes the beading.

Made sure both cut ends are square and then super glued it together with Q-bond

I'm going to settle with Q-Bond .... not going to drive all the way back to Boksburg .

Re: "Eva-Ann"
The glue I bought from Pro Auto Rubber is nothing else than cyanoacrylate aka super glue. But they didn’t tell me that even after I explicitly asked them.

Re: "Eva-Ann"
Just make sure that you do some trial runs in aligning the two rubber ends. Once you touch the ends with the super glue on, then its tickets.

Re: "Eva-Ann"
go to the hardware store and buy a 2ml tube of loctite super glue - I've used it to join O-rings for years

Re: "Eva-Ann"
Any good super glue should work. Just make sure it hasn't been lying forever on a shelf. Also stay away from cheap ones. The main part is that the rubber ends are as straight and flat as possible.
