I know the feeling. Too many projects... I'm thinking about getting up earlier and do a small task every day before going to work in order to make some headway on my projects. Or maybe I'll start doing it when it gets a bit warmer and easier to get up.
The same thought crossed my mind a few times, but then I either:

1) Turn around and sleep further; or

2) Get up and work on the car, but then be frustrated for the rest of day because I can't finish the job.

The best mountain crawler you can get and cheap to run!!

Weld up the spider gears in the diff,......effectively locking the diff!,.....then it will go anywhere!!

Nice job,.....don't forget four point seatbelts!,....with it's capabilities always being tested,.....things can go upside down before you can say. OH SHeeeet!!!

Your suggestion to weld up the spider gears intrigues me...

Do you have a picture of what it is supposed to look like?

Cheers

No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

Individual back wheel braking.

This option makes the car more usable for both bushing and high speed.

Seriously,......the suggestion to split the rear brake cables as per pic is the cheapest option. It will make it more drivable on and off road. To weld the gears, you need to dig into the gearbox,....

Your head MUST be in the game!!! with this setup,....braking the wrong wheel can be "problematic",.....could loose your lunch quickly!!

I would change the roll bar corners to pipe bends as if you do roll it those 90 deg corners will dig in and send that buggy into a serious roll and I dont think those joints will stand up to a roll over. My 2 cents worth.

I guess I shouldn't roll then

Seriously, the reason I went square is because of my limited skills and tools.

But thank you for pointing it out.
