Aircooled VW South Africa

Good day all,

First time posting so apologies if i get anything wrong. I have a Karmann ghia that I been wanting to do something with unfortunately I do not have the papers but when Ive made my mind up will get them somehow. The Ghia has bug eye headlights and needs alot of Tlc so I would want to do something 1 of a kind in Cape town. I thought of a track car or stock car but once knocked Ill struggle with panels then again rather a Baja ghia..... What are your thoughts on this? Then again would I really want to hack off the boot and wheel archers which probably are just body filler

Post up some pictures of the Ghia. If its not too far gone I would fix it and not turn it into a baja.

There are ways to get it back on the system and get papers for it, although it is a bit of a schlep.

Turning something as timeless as a ghia into a baja is a off as tits on a priest.
