16mm Sound movie projector

Post by AlanH » Sat Aug 12, 2017 6:00 pm

Hi Guys,
Not Aircooled related but I am looking for a 16mm movie projector that can also play sound.
My dad has a pile of early 1970's German movies that I would like to look through and copy to digital media if interesting.
I know of one that has some documentation of the 1972 Beetle on it.

It's in storage. I can't say without checking, as I've never used this one.

How urgently do you need a projector?

Hi Merlin, thanks not urgent at all. Would just like to do it and get it done. Will store the documentaries until we know about a projector.

Sorry, Alan, the one that I had in mind is a Super-8.

Alan there use to be places that could transfer the movie on to a DVD we had it done but that was a while back but it might be worth looking into as you can copy as many DVD as you want.
