Tornado

Post by Jdt1976 »

So yesterday I good see a big storm is heading in my direction.
Was at my office in Liitle Falls and got some big hail there. My office flooded with the normal outlets being blocked so was busy plugging computers out not to get wet.

Then I heard from my staff that some truck in the other yard in Ruimsig got blown over. Went there to see everyting a total mess.

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Thanks, house still ok.

Paul, it was a close call. The driver of the truck that fell over did get out when he thought it was shaking to much. It just fell over when he got out and tried to walk around the front.
I only checked my footage now of the drivecam the office sent me today. You can see the scrrenshot with him in the front.

The old car angels were definitely watching over your collection Jaco. It's amazing there was no serious damage to your cars with all the devastation to the buildings. Unbelievable how the SP Beetle is still on the jack stands after the workshop wall collapsed.

I hope the clean-up and insurance claim process goes smoothly.

Oh my goodness, the damage looks so terrible. I cant believe the power it took to have thrown those trucks over.
