Awesome, and a GREAT venue, in the Ardenne Mountains. Au Rouge is a mighty corner...

Just how cool is our hobby?

I think it's so groovy that there is such a diverse group of people interested in keeping these old car going and I must say I dig every style. Old, new, rat, custom, German look, rust bucket, low riders, all of 'em.

Awesome video. Thanks Gerlach.

I was fortunate enough to attend last years show, there are some pictures in my gallery. http://www.aircooledvwsa.co.za/gallery/ ... bum_id=441

Even the whole town of Spa becomes a air cooled VW show, spectacular.

Side shows on the track include drag racing, high performance racing and open circuit for anyone who wants to take a more sedate lap.

Sorry acpaterson no mountains in Belgium, I'm sure you meant forest. :D
.
If a married man speaks in the forest and his wife is not there to hear him, is he still wrong?

Sorry VW Rules, I meant Mountains.. As in rolling hills.. Not TABLE MOUNTAIN or the ALPS!
Anyone who references SPA Francorchamps in Europe talks about the Ardenne area reference both Mountains, and Forests.

@ Gerlach,
If you have friends in Amsterdam (like I do), then make the trip bud. Amsterdam is VERY central over there, (The UK's a little far). But the "Ring", is the Nurburgring, different track to Spa Francorchamps. JUST as good, and def on my Bucket List to go to the Nordschleife for one of the new 24 hour GT Champs. The SPA 24 hours was MEGA.. I walked that track twice in 24 hours, and was genuinely fooked, but there are SOOO many parties going on, it's hard to keep track of the racing.

AWESOME part of Belgium.. (In fact, my mates that I drive to Spa with, actually drove into Germany to fill up as it's a bit cheaper than Belgium and The Netherlands, I think we went into three countries in about an hour.. Was VERY weird..) :hangloose:
